LVAC’s group fitness classes are divided into five categories: Aqua, Cardio & Dance, High-Intensity & Strength, Low-Intensity, and Mind & Body. Each category is designed to offer a range of workouts, whether you’re looking to dance it out, build strength, or find balance.

Aqua Classes
Aqua classes offer a unique way to stay fit while being gentle on your body. The buoyancy of water reduces the impact on your joints. LVAC’s Aqua classes provide challenging and healthy cardio workouts which promote strength and conditioning, while also providing a safe, rehabilitative environment.
LVAC offers two pool-based classes: Rapid Liquid Cardio and AquaFit. Rapid Liquid Cardio is a fast-paced, high-energy workout that combines the use of weights with dynamic routines designed to get your heart racing. For a gentler option, AquaFit focuses on low-impact cardio exercises, making it perfect for our mature members, those recovering from injuries, or anyone just beginning their fitness journey. Both classes harness the power of water to deliver an effective, refreshing workout tailored to your needs.

Cardio & Dance
Cardio and dance classes provide an exciting way to stay active while improving heart health, endurance, and overall fitness. The fast-paced movements help burn calories efficiently, making them a great option for weight management and cardiovascular conditioning. Dancing not only enhances coordination and flexibility but also keeps workouts fun and engaging, making it easier to stay motivated. These classes fully utilize LVAC’s group fitness stages and theatrical lighting, creating an exciting environment that boosts your mood. You’ll leave class feeling like you were dancing with your friends at the club instead of getting your daily workout in!
LVAC offers timeless cardio favorites like Cycle and Zumba, but we also have our own signature dance format – DanceFit by LVAC! DanceFit by LVAC is an exclusive class that blends high-energy pop and hip-hop music with dynamic bodyweight exercises. This one-of-a-kind workout delivers the perfect mix of dance and strength training, keeping you moving, sweating, and having fun. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or brand new, DanceFit by LVAC offers an exciting way to challenge yourself.
LVAC also offers Hot Hula Fitness! No experience is needed—just bring your energy and get ready for a fun, core-strengthening workout! This unique class combines traditional Polynesian dance movements with high-energy routines set to rhythmic island beats. Not only will you build core strength and endurance, but Hot Hula will also boost your confidence. Come shake, sweat, and sculpt your body while experiencing the spirit of the islands!
These aren’t the only dance classes at LVAC, though. We also have Commit Dance Fitness and our unique offering of Belly Dancing, which also run weekly at LVAC’s clubs.

High Intensity
High-intensity classes like H.E.A.T by LVAC and HIIT, are an excellent way to maximize your workout in a short amount of time. These classes push you to your limits with fast-paced exercises that elevate your heart rate and boost your metabolism. The combination of strength and cardio movements helps build lean muscle, burn fat, and enhance overall athletic performance. If you’re looking for a challenging, results-driven workout that keeps you engaged and energized, high-intensity is the way to go!
If you have ever been to a H.E.A.T. class, you know that this format means business! H.E.A.T. is LVAC’s exclusive take on high intensity interval training. This class utilizes interval workstations, such as battle ropes, kettlebells, free weights, jump ropes, and more, to create short and intense exercise sessions. You will feel fat burning right off when you turn up the H.E.A.T.!
LVAC offers high-intensity Les Mills classes like BodyCombat, BodyStep, BodyAttack, and BodyPump, designed to take your fitness to the next level. BodyCombat is a high energy, martial arts-inspired workout that combines Karate, Muay Tai and conditioning routines. This class will take your workout to another level with an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack, making you feel like a true champion. BodyStep utilizes a step to build endurance, and weights to build strength. Cardio blocks push fat burning systems into high gear, followed by muscle conditioning blocks that shape and tone your body.
BodyAttack is an all-out energy driven class from start to finish, with cardio movement patterns including burpees and jumps. It is a sports-inspired cardio workout that is designed to build strength and stamina. This class combines athletic movements with strength and stabilization exercises and is driven by powerful music that motivates everyone towards their fitness goals.
BodyPump focuses on total-body strength training, using barbells and weight plates to target every major muscle group for a lean, toned body. This dynamic class helps you build strength, endurance, and muscle definition and will truly redefine your body.
LVAC also offers 8Strikes kickboxing, Kettlebell Power, and Sprint by Les Mills, and express HIIT classes to get your heart pounding. If you’re looking to push your limits as an athlete, these classes will improve your mobility and range of motion as well as enhance your overall athletic performance.

Low Intensity
Low-intensity exercise is a great way to stay active while being gentle on your body. It helps improve cardiovascular health, flexibility, and endurance without putting excessive strain on your joints and muscles. Light resistance training can reduce stress, enhance mobility, and promote overall well-being. Low-intensity workouts are also ideal for recovery days, beginners, and seniors, allowing you to stay consistent without overexertion.
Functional & Fit by LVAC is a format that allows you to focus on strengthening muscles and increasing your range of motion for daily life activities. This training helps individuals perform tasks with ease and mimics movement patterns such as squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling. M.R.T. (Muscle Resistance Training) is a low-intensity class designed to improve muscle tone and endurance while being easy on the joints. Using resistance bands, light weights and medicine balls, this workout helps build stability and functional fitness to support everyday movements.

Mind & Body
Mind and body classes, such as yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, and Qigong, offer a balance of physical and mental well-being. These classes improve flexibility, strength, and posture while also reducing stress and promoting relaxation. Controlled movements and focused breathing help enhance mindfulness, allowing you to feel more present and centered in your daily life. Additionally, these workouts support better balance, coordination, and injury prevention, making them an excellent complement to high-intensity training.
These class offerings allow LVAC to cater to all experience levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced yogi, you can progress at your own pace, starting with Beginning Yoga and working your way up to more challenging classes. Pilates provides a great alternative, incorporating similar movements but with a stronger emphasis on core strength and stability. For those seeking a more meditative approach, Tai Chi and Qigong (pronounced chi-gong) are low-impact classes suitable for all ages, focusing on mindfulness, balance, and energy flow. If you’re looking to reduce stress and reconnect with your body, these classes are the perfect way to find your inner peace!
